A work restriction, as outlined in part 1904.7, happens when the employer keeps the worker from performing one or more routine capabilities of the job, or from working the complete workday the worker would in any other case have been scheduled to work. The case in question is recordable if the employee would have labored 10 hours had she or he not been injured. Therefore, the OSHA recordkeeping regulation doesn’t apply to non-U.S. Operations, and accidents or diseases which will occur to a employee touring outside the United States need not be recorded on the OSHA 300 Log.
